Ingredients
- 2 cups Chopped Onions
- 2 3/4 cups Chopped Celery
- ¼ cups Butter or margarine
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- ¾ cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 ½ cups Milk
- 2 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 2 ¾ Cooked Seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops, tuna, lobster, etc.)
- ½ cups Butter Margarine
Directions
Saute onion and celery in 50 ml butter until tender; stir in salt and pepper. Melt 125 ml butter in a medium sauce pan; add flour. Slowly add milk; stir in cheese; cook and stir until cheese has melted; remove from heat. Combine celery mixture with seafood; place into a large casserole dish; pour sauce over top.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
CAUTION: DON’T OVERCOOK
Note: Recipe may be prepared in individual casseroles if preferred.
Note: Shrimp(small frozen), imitation crab and scallops need not be pre-cooked due to size.
