Beef Jerky – Phyllis Miller

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. lean beef, cut in thin strips
  • Marinate overnight in sauce of:
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup warm water.
  • 1 Tbsp Hot pepper sauce(to suit taste)
  • 2 Tbsp liquid smoke

Directions

Hang strips over the oven rack with foil underneath to catch drippings. Dry beef in the oven at 140 F for 6 hours. Leave the oven door open a crack.
