Granny’s Peach Cobbler – Dolly Ayers

Ingredients

Filling

  • 6-8 large peaches (chopped, unpeeled)
  • ⅓ cup sugar or molasses
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground all spice

Batter

  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup oatmeal
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • ¼ to 12 tsp salt

Directions

Mix peaches and sugar or molasses, sprinkle with ground cinnamon, ground all spice or ground cloves and place in 9×9 pan. Mix batter ingredients and spread over filling. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until batter is lightly brown, use toothpick to check if batter is done.
