Decorator Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. hot skim milk
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. hot skim milk
  • 1/2 c. white Crisco
  • 2 t. white vanilla
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 2/3 c. white Crisco
  • 3 drops butter extract
  • 4-5 drops butter extract

Directions

Measure all ingredients into a bowl except milk. Heat milk till bubbles form around the edge. Add to other ingredients and beat for 5 minutes, cover with damp cloth to prevent crusting. Mix really well before using to get rid of air bubbles.
